If you have to choose between playing games in a mobile phone or PC, which one you would choose? If it is the latter, then you should use BlueStacks. It is an emulator that mimics Android environment so that you can play mobile games or apps on a PC.
The name “BlueStacks” is dropped quite often in online discussions about Android emulators. It is fairly fast, but what is more important is that it is one of the emulators out there that are still actively maintained.
Features and Highlights
Part of the appeal of BlueStacks is its capability in running multiple games at once. By using its Multi-Instance Manager, all the games you’re playing can be arranged in a grid mode so you can view them all at once, and you can effortlessly switch from one game to another.
To reduce the impact of playing multiple games at the same time, there is a built-in solution called Eco Mode which can be easily enabled by toggling on its slider on the sidebar. It lowers the system resource consumption and gives you options to fine-tune the configuration for each instance, which could optimize the consumption even more if you make use of them.
The multiple instances support synchronization. What it means is whatever you do in the main instance, the other instances follow suit. This could really save your time a lot because you don’t have to repeat the same tasks in every window.
And BlueStacks macros could even save more of your time as it allows you to automate tasks. By combining these macros with Multi-Instance Manager, you will be able to run a variety of tasks on all windows at once simply by pressing shortcut keys that you have assigned to the tasks.
Even if you play a single game only, macros are still useful because you can bind sequences with a key. You can, for example, record a power attack when you perform it, and then assign a key to the macro. The next time you’re going to use the same power attack, you just need to hit the key.
All in all, macro sounds great, but there is one downside that you should be aware of. You can only use macro on games that support it.
Of all the games that you’re interested in, perhaps one or two comes with a foreign language, making the games difficult to play. BlueStacks tackles this language barrier with its built-in translation tool. Even though the translation might not as good as your expectation, it is better than playing a game without having a clue at all on how to play it.
