Adobe Photoshop 2022 is powerful, more so with the addition of the improved Adobe Sensei, which is one of the greatest innovations that the company has ever introduced to the public since it was released the first time back in 1990.

Features and Highlights

In earlier versions, when you need to select an object in a photograph, you can use the Object Selection tool. It allows you to draw a rough selection around the object and, after that, it automatically identifies and selects the object.

In Adobe Photoshop 2022, the Object Selection tool has been refined with the addition of a new feature called Object Finder, which makes it much easier to select an object.

There is no need to always manually make a selection anymore as the new feature is capable of finding objects in an image on its own. It works by analyzing your image to find the objects. After the analysis is done, a click of a single button reveals every object that the new feature finds, each of which is highlighted with a blue overlay.

If necessary, the blue overlay color can be replaced with another one, and the opacity of the overlay can be adjusted too.

Object Finder is enabled by default and automatically reanalyzes your image every time you make a change to the image. The automatic analysis can be changed to manual analysis so that Adobe Photoshop 2022 will only analyze your image when you click the Refresh button.

Object Finder is definitely a time saving feature, and there are still plenty of other features that are extremely helpful, like Mask All Objects. This is a new addition in Adobe Photoshop 2022 that allows you to click just a single button to create a group of masks for all the objects within an image. If your image contains eight objects, for instance, then it will generate eight masks, all of which can be seen in the Layers panel on the right side of the main window.
